On August 17th during the 2nd Nagoya concert of AKB48's 5 major dome tour, there is a surprised announcement about SKE48. At that concert, Matsui Jurina and Matsui Rena crying aloud because 35,000 people gave a 'SKE' call.
Shiba Tomoya as the the SKE48 Theatre Manager appeared on stage during the encore and announced to the audience that SKE48 will hold live concert on October 26 th at Kobe Memorial Hall and also on December 6th at Yokohama Arena. But the most shocking announcement is the screen projected " SKE48 Independent Concert Nagoya Dome 2014.2.2 (Sun)."

On that stage, Rena as the representation of members said, " SKE hasn't done a tour in a long time and the only big concert we've done was [Nippon] Gaishi Hall.
