AKB48 Got New Guinness Record - Japanese idol group AKB48 recently managed to get their fourth Guinness World Record. This time they grabbed the record for "best feature in a video game with displaying the pop singer ever" for their newest dating simulation game AKB 1/149 Renai Sosenkyo (AKB1/149 Love General Election).

The record of charter ceremony held in Tokyo on December 6, and the award was accepted by the three members of AKB48 Takahashi Minami, Watanabe Mayu and Yokoyama Yui. Until now, this is the fourth record they achieved as an idol group. First, that group hailed as "Pop Group With Most Member" in 2010, "The number of CM (Ad) Most For The Same Product In 24-Hour Period" last March, and just this November, a sister group SKE48 received award for the "Most In A Music Video Album".
Renai AKB1/149 Sosenkyo show 149 members of this idol group, different from previous games that only displays 48 members only. including the members of the AKB48 sister group SKE48, NMB48 and HKT48. this game will be available for the console PSP and PSVita, and will be released on December 20 for 7,329 yen.
